Beschreibung
We are a Surf School/Surf Camp located in Corralejo Fuerteventura, Canary Islands.
We provide surf lessons and accommodation to our guests from all over the world.
The surf season here is never ending and we are looking for helpers who would like to join our team, help us with the house and guests, explore the island, and of course, surf !
We are looking for somebody with previous experience in volunteering, the hotel or entertainment sector, with a good knowledge of the English and Spanish languages.
The tasks in our Surf House consist of :
- check in and check out of our guests
- keeping the house clean and organised
- doing laundry for the beds when new guests arrive
- helping the guests with problems and motivating them to enjoy our surf classes
In exchange we offer you accommodation in our Surf House (and the use of all its facilities) which is located near the beach and one of the island's famous surf spots. Next to that you can join any of our surf classes if there is a free spot available and have access to our surfing equipment.
Share the island’s life style with us and our philosophy of sharing to learn from each other.

As you know the Canary Islands - the Hawaii of Europe - and Fuerteventura is the surf heart of Canarias.
You'll be able to see it with your own eyes, feel the atmosphere and the ocean.
While staying here you are going to learn to surf, travel to different parts of the island with us and practice your languages. You will meet so many people and make good friends for sure.

Arbeit
We are looking for a workawayer who can spend at least two month or more with us.
We are also looking for a person with a driver's license and experience of driving a manual transmission in case we need help with the transfer of guests.
In general, you work three days and a half a week. Two days of working, then two days off, then 1,5 days of working (free afternoon), and another 2 days off. Like this the shifts change and everybody has the weekend off sometimes.
As it’s important to us to provide our guests a place where they feel like home, the days you’re working you are supposed to stay all day in the hostel. So the guests always have somebody to reach out to. We really want the volunteers to be part of our project and share the philosophy of sharing to grow and learn together.

Bed in a nice and cozy shared room with 3 other people. Your house is just next to the beach and has a great garden with a swimming pool. So if you need some privacy for sure you’ll find it outside of the room ;)

Fuerteventura island is the best one for surfing in Canarias. So if you are not surfing, you have to try at least once. It's a MUST!
The name Fuerteventura literally means "Strong Fortune" or "Strong Winds". It's true indeed! Strong winds also attract lots of people who are interested in kitesurf and windsurf.
The landscape of Fuerteventura is impressive, wild coasts along the ocean, volcanoes, deserts are eyes killers)
You can take a bike or bus, or a car and explore the island.
Lots of people come here also to train themselves for different kinds of marathons, iron man, etc.
Corralejo city, where we are located, is full of nice places, cafes, restaurants, shops, and bars. So you won't be bored at night time :)
We can continue to describe all advantages of being here...but the best decision will be just to come here and try all these by yourself being a part of our team!

Aivis helped in a quite time but though been experienced some surf lessons and took photos for the school for what a special thank from the students and the schools stuff.

Nuria arrived to our camp as a Spanish teacher and was very welcommed. Until the begining of the shift been explained all the duties with printed lists. So 1 h a lesson daily and another 1 hour of taking care of the camp house where live. For that we offered of ocurse accommodation and full board meals.

Ferdinand arrived to our camp and supposed to stay all the summer but unfortunately had to leave before.
Helped a lot with the surf classes doing assistance to the instructor. Still need more practice to pay attention needed to the students and be responsible as well.
We had a good time during June. Kids enjoyed Ferdi's company.
