Beschreibung

Heeey everyone ☺

my name is Tom and for a few years i have it my mind to join workaway. For my first adventure i am planning to hitchhike to morocco and find some kind hosts ;)
What to tell about me...? I'm a yoga teacher, i study special needs education, i play guitar, i spend a lot of time outdoors, love hiking, climbing, travelling, surfing and and and. But most important: i love to share these things with friends, have good conversations and dream a bit together :)
After school I've already spent 6 Months in cambodia working as an english teacher and living with wonderful khmer people. It was a amazing experience for me but nowdays i think these kind of volunteer work is benefting us privileged europeans more than the locals...
But i think volunteer-work can be a benefit for both sides and i am looking forward to every workaway out there!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Beside my studies i worked a lot with children, especially in sport clubs, on vacation trips and of course in the public school. I'm used to teaching in schools or working with people with a disability. Working together with children is definitly my passion :)
Furthermore i am Yogatecher and i really enjoy teaching yoga :) there is a small dream of mine to work in a surfcamp as an yogateacher. Lets see what future brings.
So i think these are the two skills with a qualification. But i am quiet good in the most manual work, learned a lot from my father when renovating and building our house. In the most of tasks i'll find joy and especially in a volunteer-relation i am eager to do new stuff which are maybe out of my comfort zone.

Was noch ...

I love doing sports. We just found a Roundnet/Spikeball-Club in my current hometown. So i play a lot of spikeball, volleyball, doing yoga and started 2023 with climbing (AMAZING hobby!). Beside all the sports i play guitar and try to learn some new instruments. And one of the biggest parts of my life are my flatmates. We are five flatmates and we do nearly everything togehter; cooking, sports, playing boardgames, help each other out, and what else happens in life :)
