Beschreibung

Inspiration comes to me in the form of connection with the earth, community, family, and music. My intention with Workaway is to explore and deepen all of these aspects to fulfill my purpose and life's work. I am a teacher, farmer, traveler, brother, son, and friend. I'm excited to meet and work with new friends and family and put my hands and heart into the soil, and watch as creation unfolds.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I am currently in Costa Rica seeking programs to get involved with, in hopes of eventually finding a small finca. I teach landscape construction and horticulture at a public vocational high school in Massachusetts but am on an extended hiatus. My previous work experiences include project coordinator for a non-profit urban farm. Farm manager for a non-profit organization assisting refugees farming in New Hampshire. I've worked on organic farms in both Hawaii and California and am very interested in learning more about tropical food production, permaculture and food forest production. I have also taught ESL in Spain for multiple years. I've worked in construction both in the US and Spain for many years, including carpentry and masonry. My Spanish is good, wanting to get better. Hoping to find like-minded individuals that I can learn and share with to expand my knowledge and put my energy into the things I find most important. I'm a hard worker and responsible. I like working for the greater good whether it be on a small scale or globally.
