We are a couple from Germany and we’re spending one year in Canada on a Working Holiday adventure! We’re excited to explore the country, meet new people, experience different ways of life, and of course, work along the way.

So, let us introduce ourselves:

Hi! My name is Timo, I’m 26 years old and I’m a trained carpenter with additional experience in construction, roofing, and timber work. I’m highly motivated, reliable, and hands-on, and I enjoy learning new skills and taking on new challenges.

I’m always eager to work, gain new experiences, and learn from the people around me. I’m smart, committed, and not afraid of hard work. I enjoy working both independently and as part of a team.

In my free time, I love hiking, exploring nature, and climbing mountains. I’m excited to meet new people, experience different ways of living, and contribute wherever I can.

I’m looking forward to new adventures, learning new things, and making unforgettable experiences along the way!

My name is Lilly, I’m 24 years old and a qualified legal and notary assistant from Germany. Although my professional background is in an office environment, I’m also very interested in physical, hands-on work and enjoy being active.

I’m especially interested in working with animals and would love the opportunity to gain experience on a farm and learn more about caring for and working with different animals.

In my free time, I love spending time in nature! I enjoy hiking, jogging, swimming, and being active outdoors in general. I also love spending time with my family. I’m a very family-oriented person and enjoy meeting new people, connecting with others, and sharing experiences.

I’m especially excited about the experiences I’ll gain from working on a farm and learning more about farm life, animals, and the daily work involved.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Timos Skills: As a carpenter, I have experience building custom-made furniture such as cabinets, tables, dressers, and wall paneling according to customers’ wishes. I also have experience restoring and repairing furniture.

As a carpenter and roofer, I have worked on timber framing, roof construction, terrace building, wooden cladding, metalwork, and flat roof construction.

Lilly Skills: As a qualified legal and notary assistant, I have developed strong communication and organizational skills through working with and assisting people in an office environment.

While I don’t have as much experience with physical and farm work, I’m very motivated to learn! Through a previous part-time job in the steel industry, I gained some experience with physical work and learned how to operate production machinery.

I’m excited to step outside my comfort zone, learn new skills, take on new challenges, and gain hands-on experience. I’m a fast learner, highly motivated, and always willing to put in the effort and give my best!

Was noch ...

We have a little cat named Coco at home, and we absolutely love animals in general! We would especially love to stay on a farm where there are cats, dogs, horses, cows, or other animals.

We are family-oriented and friendly persons which enjoy connecting with people, spending time together, and becoming part of a family or community. We are open-minded, caring, and always happy to help wherever we can.
