Hello everyone! After a successful workaway experience in Japan, I am traveling back to East Asia, I am interested in farmstays, helping out and meeting new people! Open to anything!

Beschreibung

Hello Everyone! I am a Dutch, 23 year old, 4th year Logistics Engineering student in the Netherlands at Windesheim University of Applied Sciences, and I am about to graduate allowing me to travel once again!

Life in college, working with many companies can be very hectic and fast paced, meanwhile I have always dreamed of living a simpler life, and hence why I've always loved travelling. I have travelled to 32 countries throughout my life, including many solo travels. Furthermore I have done an exchange semester for half a year at Konkuk University in Seoul, South Korea. Exploring new places and experiencing life in different places are some of the most meaningful experiences to me.

I am doing another big trip across Asia this time from roughly February to June/July to many different countries, including South Korea, Taiwan, China, and possibly Vietnam and the Philippines. I am looking to once again do workaway! I really enjoyed my first Workaway experience in Japan in the summer of 2024.
I am open to any kind of experiences; rural, urban, farm stays, cultural/language exchanges, chores or other!

I am a generally social, while I can also be introverted at times. I'm constantly trying to challenge myself, hence why I am open to any new experience and any task. I am also very proactive and love to challenge myself and do new things. Once I've started to work on something, I will fully commit and do my best to achieve a good result. I am dedicated to my work, and work well in teams, as well as individually. I always do my best to be openminded and have a big love for humanity and accept any beliefs and opinions. Respect and positivity is important to me!

I have a great interest in geography, history, photography, and of course traveling. (I often find myself looking through google earth, dreaming of seeing and exploring new places).I love to go on walks and hikes, whether its through nature or an urban jungle! Furthermore I also have a big love for music and play the drums and the guitar.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

While I have little experience yet on working on farms, or renovation work, I often work on the front and backyard here at home and always love doing so. Open to physical work, house work maintenance work & more! I am eager to learn and develop these skills further. My working hours are very flexible, I am open to work at any time, and love meeting new people from other cultures.

I am also able to clean and do chores, I make sure to be very thorough and always ensure to have a satisfied result.

I am able to very independent, but also enjoy working with others.

I speak fluently English and Dutch, with some limited German and French skills. I am actively learning Mandarin, and am open to learn any other languages too!
