Beschreibung
Namaste! My name is Timo, and I'm a 27-year-old German currently living in Innsbruck, Austria.
I'm completing my training as a natural health practitioner, which will be finished at the end of July. I'm looking forward to spending a few months collecting new experiences and widening my horizons!
I've backpacked in Australia and Nepal and really enjoyed Nepalese culture and people. Since then, I've wanted to revisit Nepal.
In my practice, I want to help people live a more natural, balanced way of life, but before I start practicing, I want to travel and immerse myself in a simpler way of life first-hand.
I'm open to all kinds of volunteering experiences, but farming, interacting with animals, and teaching are my favorites. Ideally, I'd also like to learn about local natural medicine.
I'm fluent in German and English and speak a little French.
I'm available to volunteer for up to 5 months, starting in August.
In my free time, I like to go hiking, mountain biking, and spend time with friends. I also enjoy reading books on philosophy, psychology, and natural medicine. Cooking is a great passion of mine, and I'm interested in learning new cooking skills.
I'd consider myself a very respectful, easy-going guest with an openness to new experiences and adaptability to various situations.Interessengebiete

I enjoy using language correctly in its various forms. I consider writing and reading to be excellent exercises for deepening one's ability to use a language. English is an essential language nowadays, and I'm grateful that I learned it sufficiently in school and was able to improve it abroad. Therefore, I understand the importance of using English, and I would be delighted to help children learn it. During my first stay in Nepal, I learned some basic Nepali. I'm interested in learning more of the local language to improve communication.Bereiche, die mich interessieren oder in denen ich anderen etwas beibringen kann

Knowledge about medicine, classic and natural approaches which comes from my training as a health practicioner.
Aromatherapy which I learned mostly by myself out of interest, in addition to the fact that I want to use it in my practice.
Cooking. I have worked in many kitchens since my school days and started cooking at an very early age. I value a healthy diet freshly and sourced ingridients.
Movement and mobility, especially calisthenics. Mostly self taught and aquired through courses and friends.
Basic IT-knowledge. Versed in handling computers and smartphones.
Jungian psychology. Hardly relevant for this purpose I'd imagine, but I am confronting myself with Carl Jung's work since about three years and I am able to apply it to a certain point.Alter
