My wife, Edith and I are recently retired educators and are interested in experiencing new cultures around the globe.
We live at the foothills of the Cdn Rockies and love outdoor pursuits - hiking, mountain biking, kayaking and skiing in the winter.
We love meeting people and enjoy trying new food experiences as well as good wines!
In our previous lives, Edith was a primary French immersion teacher and I was an elementary principal.
Edith loves crafting and is an accomplished seamstress. Currently,she enjoys up cycling denim products that she sells at various stores. Edith’s first language is French and is fully bilingual.
I have some basic diy carpentry skills- have built fencing, decks, sheds and some house renovations. I am also proficient with a chainsaw. I enjoy cooking and trying new recipes and have recently started baking breads.
We love live music and both enjoy reading in our downtime.
We have 2 grown up sons, both working in a health related field.
We are looking forward to new adventures and making new friends.

Edith- seamstress, enjoys painting, crafting, excellent decorating and organizing skills. Perfectly bilingual - French/ English
Tim - diy carpenter skills, self motivated, experience with house renovations ( basic plumbing/ electrical but definitely not professional ). English is first language and has intermediate/ beginner French.
Both of us are keen to learn new skills and are both independent workers who are not afraid of a hard days work.
