Hello, I am Théo, 26 years old, from France.
I have just finished my master’s degree in Cinema Editing (Insas - Brussels).

I am a positive and quiet person. Respect and empathy is really basic for me in any kind of relation. I am frank and always here to communicate, when it’s good and when there can be problems : I am always open to make everyone happy. It is essential for me in this kind of works.
I would love to come to your place doing manual and meaningful work and very open to others to share. I love artistic and DIY activities ; cinema, books and other arts ; chess ; a lot of sports such as cycling, basketball, rugby,... I would like to practice more hiking. I am concerned about climate change and try to do my best to limit my impact on the environment.

Before my full transition into professional jobs, I want to go to Italy, where my great grandfather comes from. I have always been interested in discovering the country and its culture beyond the ideas we can have. To live in not as a tourist : meeting people and sharing our thoughts about our vision of the actual world and ways of living . At present, I only made a few short trips and keep the name of my ancestors ; I speak french and english but my goal is to learn italian of course.

I add to this project my desire to develop my link to nature : knowledge, skills and sensations. I originally come from a lonely house in the middle of the west countryside of France (Deux-Sèvres). So I know what kind of life is to be in the countryside but as my parents are not farmers and have a “simple” garden, I never really developed skills or knowledge about such things as gardening, farming, permaculture, … That’s why I am really motivated to go deep into it and I am not afraid of working hard and getting my hands dirty.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I already started to work in cinema postproduction. Before that, I worked hard in a factory during several summer holidays of my studies. I also did a volunteering at Body&Soul (music and arts festival in a forest) in Ireland and I was involved in the ciné-club team of my school : I already experienced what team work is ; and it was fun ! I grew up in a house that is constantly being renovated. I also have this experience of helping my father into the construction work.

To sum up, I am available to work into farming, gardening and construction even if I don’t have deep experience in it, as long as the instructions are clear. If you show it to me once, I can work in a variety of tasks ; I can learn quickly.

Besides the film editing, I also have my personal artistic projects which have different forms : video, collages, drawings, animation, cyanotypes. I can share what I know about video editing, video filming, bookbiding, recycling paper, photography, photoshop (basics). Let me know if you’re particularly interested in one thing so I can bring some tools.

I would also be happy to share with you my culture and my native language (french) !
