Beschreibung

I'm a joyful, adventurous optimist, who loves exploring the world and connecting with people! I'm open minded and love doing something new or learning about something.

In my freetime I'm a dancer (recently started) and a horse rider (over 10 years of experience) and love to be outside; cycling, hiking, skating or trying new activities.
However, I value quiet time just as much as being outside and can be found with a book or a writing project of my own more often than not xD

I would love to share stories with you and explore cities/ the countryside together! I believe traveling is sometimes all about the people you meet and I look forward to getting to know likeminded and kind people from all over the world 🫶

I love learning new languages and connecting with people through it from all over the world! ^^ German is my mother tongue and I speak English fluently. Additionally, I learnt a bit of Spanish a few years ago, which I would love to revive and expand! And lastly, I also learned a tiny bit of Chinese (Mandarin), which was very difficult but I absolutely loved it and would love to continue learning this very complex language 🙂‍↕️. Generally, I am always open to learning new languages and would say I learn quite well :)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I worked as a horse riding teacher for 5 years and therefore have good knowledge about working with horses and children, where creating a welcoming environment for everyone has always been my top priority. I want the children to be comfortable and have fun first, before achieving any high standards.
The wellbeing of the horses was also my biggest priority, to keep them happy and healthy.
I additionally worked as part of the stables team for a while, where we would take care of the horses and their home, making sure everything was clean and safe for the animals and visitors. Work would include feeding, grooming, cleaning, relocating the horses between stables, pen and meadows and general stable work.

I also worked as event staff for a short while during my time in Toronto and helped at a pretzel and popcorn station, where we would prepare and sell the food in a fast paced environment. There, I also operated the cashier and took in the orders, ensuring a friendly and efficient service for the customers.

Additionally I also worked at a cafe for a short time in Toronto and helped with everything there; operating the cashier, taking orders, preparing the food/ drinks, refilling everything, scooping ice cream, cleaning the sitting area and either ensuring the late shift had all supplies they needed or closing the store during the late shift.

In short, I have experience with:

- cleaning stables
- feeding horses
- organizing orders for shipments

I generally enjoy expanding my skills and learning something new! I adapt quickly and enjoy hands-on work and won't shy away from getting my hands dirty in the process.
