Beschreibung

I’m from a small town in Dooars, West Bengal, India.

Growing up close to forests, tea gardens, and slow living shaped the way I see the world. I’ve always been drawn to real places, real people, and stories that don’t try too hard to impress.

What motivates me is curiosity and a need to feel alive. I like putting myself in unfamiliar spaces, meeting people from completely different lives, and understanding how they live, create, and think. I believe the world is kinder than we’re told, and most connections just need a little openness.

Travel, for me, is not about ticking places off a list. It’s about staying long enough to feel something. To learn, to contribute, to be part of a place even if only for a while. I enjoy meaningful work, whether it’s helping with community projects, creative work, or simply being useful where I can.

I’m also a content creator and storyteller, so I naturally document the places I go and the people I meet. But more than that, I’m someone who values shared meals, long conversations, and the kind of experiences that stay with you.

I’m here to explore, contribute, and grow through people and places.

Education
I have done my Masters in Marketing and graduated in 2021 from Calcutta, West Bengal, India.

Work experience
I have worked in the marketing industry for 5 years as a marketing strategist and social media manager.

Travel experience
I have been traveling solo since 2022 in India and 2026 is my international travel year. I won a national competition in India called Scapia Leap Year that takes me around 4 continents in a spam of 365 days!
The objective of the brand is to normalise taking a gap year in India and build a community of people/travellers who look at the world as pages of a book that most often than not changes your life.
Under this program, I have already backpacked across Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Australia and Indonesia.
The second half of the year is taking me around UK, Europe and Africa! I am really looking forward to this year!

Other volunteer experiences
I have volunteered at a permaculture farm in Darjeeling, India for 3 months handling farm work to guest management to social media. (March - May 2023)

A cafe & hotel in Spiti, Himachal Pradesh where I contributed in making a book of experiences for their guests to engage in and a film about humans of Spiti and an introduction to the authentic cultures. (June 2025)

A recent one is a farm and cheese making work at a farm in Queensland, Australia (April 2026)
