I love hiking and being outside in nature! Going to the beach and swimming. Traveling, gardening, agroforestry and permaculture. Food processing, fermentation and cooking.

Beschreibung

Hello I am Travis. I am from a small town in upstate NY. I love traveling and meeting new people, experiencing new places and cultures. Ive only recently started traveling a lot, learning so much each time. My desire to travel, learn, teach and meet new people is what drives me. I spent 8 months living in rural Costa Rica on a sustainable living education center, there I earned my Permaculture Design Certificate. While also learning a lot about natural building, food processing and fermentation, agroforestry and communal living. I have experience teaching and leading permaculture projects as well as garden installations, landscaping, and native plant management.

I have a passion for art, I love painting and drawing. I've shown my work in many exhibitions around the world. I also have a deep passion for the environment and our ecosystem. I love being outside, camping, hiking, gardening, biking, swimming, exploring of any kind excites me! I have gained a diverse and unique set of skills throughout the years and am eager to share and learn.

Im very comfortable with a simple lifestyle, living remotely amongst the forest is a goal of mine. I enjoy living in like-minded communities and sharing my experiences with others who love the Earth. Im no stranger to working hard all day long in the heat, and I actually get some enjoyment from it. Looking forward to meeting more beautiful people out there in the world!

I have experience in many fields.
I currently work outdoors as a landscape project manager. I have knowledge of plants and trees. Experience in gardening, agroforestry and farming. I spent some time learning natural building. Ive done some masonry work.
I have a lot of experience painting, artistically and commercially. I’ve worked in customer service as a counter person in cafes and restaurants. In kitchens, I have experience cooking and I love to do it. Ive done truck driving/delivery.Im good with computers and technology although its not my favorite.
