Hello! I am currently revisiting Paraguay - Ciudad del Este after having lived here from 2014-2015 during an exchange. While I want to reconnect with my exchange families as well as with old friends, it´s my aim to experience Paraguay a little different this time as well. I look forward to engaging with the community, maybe even learning some Guaraní, to experience the culture firsthand.
I'm a curious traveler passionate about experiencing different cultures, learning from people around the world, and enjoying the beauty of diversity. I love to explore new places, try local foods, and immerse myself in the daily rhythms of wherever I go. In my downtime, I’m often found with a book in hand, enjoying solace moments that let me recharge and reflect. Whether it’s sharing stories, helping out, or simply learning something new, I’m excited to contribute to each place I visit and make meaningful connections along the way.

Im definitely interested in teaching a language. My repetoire is limited to German (mother tongue) and English (Fluent). Regarding learning languages, I am currently learning Spanish in the setting of my exchange family, but I am also interested generally interested in speaking Spanish with different people. On top of that I would love to learn at least the essentials of Guaraní if possible.

While I might not have formal experience in specific skills, I'm super eager to learn and adapt to whatever my hosts need. My time spent in cultural exchange has taught me to be flexible and open, and I genuinely enjoy supporting family life however I can. I’m happy to pitch in with daily tasks, whether it’s cooking ( I have been cooking Paella for the last 6 months), gardening, or lending a hand at community events (I even have a degree in Event Management!). My curiosity and enthusiasm for new experiences keep me motivated to take on challenges and add something positive to the household. I'm excited to learn, connect, and get fully immersed in the local culture – I think my adaptability and open mind will make me a great fit for your community!
