Beschreibung
I, Susanna, was born and raised in Austria but my home is the world. I left this country in 2013 and have been traveling ever since, in one way or the other. After being tired of carrying my backpack around for over 4 years and not being able to have "my own place" I invested in a motorhome (Icaro), traveled with her for several years and after she gave way because of old age I upgraded to a new house on wheels (Icaro 2.0). Currently my partner, Be, and I are backpacking around Peru and Ecuador but once we return to Europe we will move back to van life.
I am an open minded, curious, thoughtful, kind, polite, clean and tidy, adventurous and spontaneous person. Being outside and in nature is absolutely vital for me and I enjoy getting things done with my hands. I'm always on the look-out for off-grid locations and getting back to our roots - being in nature and immersing myself in it.
I love music and write my own songs for the guitar mostly - I own a drone flute, shamanic drum, guitar, ukulele and a banjo; I enjoy the outdoors, hiking and reading (a lot).
A while back I heard the calling and have ever since been fully and deeply immersed into the world of plant medicine. I am an excellent space holder during ceremony. I have gathered a fair amount of experience with it so far and am a big promoter of psychedelics for healing purposes all in all. Just as a brief introduction to this side of mine as well :)
I am an introvert at heart (quirky, shy and socially awkward) - I can be quite outgoing and love to communicate if I feel comfortable but I need solitude in order to recharge just the same. So, I hope you understand that I need a fair amount of alone time. Social interactions can be rather exhausting and overwhelming sometimes - also, I really like to be alone and just read my book or play one of my instruments :)
My name is Bence, but when I am travelling I use the name “Be” for easier pronunciation.
I grew up in North-East Hungary, working with my father on the weekends as a plumber to make some extra money for my motocross.
I played many sports like handball, soccer, American football, swimming and a few styles of martial arts. I would say I am a creative person. Drawing and painting a lot, also playing music on different instruments including guitar, piano, drums, didgeridoo and a few more.
Last 7 years I have travelled a lot around the globe. Did bar manager jobs in New Zealand, lived a month in the Taiwanese jungle in community, have been part of a sailing circus, sailed almost half a year from Fiji to South Korea, I have been an outdoor instructor in summer camps in France, Belgium and Norway. Help build a house in Morocco and also in Hungary, painted a mural in Sardinia for a sports festival.
Nowaday the activities I do when I have a chance are Slackline, Highline, rock climb, yoga, hiking, running and juggling. I am good at hospitality and also on construction sites and can do gardening too. I don't have a green thumb yet but I'm working on it.
I am really easy going, make friends in no time, can vibe with almost anybody. Some people even says I am funny. I love animals and living in nature.Interessengebiete

Susanna: Quite a few, actually. I like to see myself as a sort of "Jane of all Trades" - I can offer experience in several handy ways.
I have a lot of experience with working on construction sites (Earthship or Cobwall houses, Stackwall House, etc.)
Also, I spent 3 months as an Au Pair in New Zealand and was taking care kids at several Workaway family's places - I can provide 3 great references for my child care abilities.
Furthermore, if you need any help in improving your German or English skills I can be quite helpful.
I have worked in hospitality on numerous occasions either behind the reception desk (mostly) or as a waitress.
If there is any kind of work in the garden, housekeeping, general maintenance, shopping, animal care (feeding, going for a walk) or anything else I don't hesitate to do whatever I'm asked for. I don't mind to make my hands dirty e.g. in the woods, working on the field etc. - I enjoy using my hands for hard work. That's what they are there for.
If everyone around me is happy I'm happy too.
And furthermore I am musically inclined and can sing pretty well if that counts as a skill.
Be: I can build anything, one approach I learnt from my father. Its just takes time :D
I am confident to create anything for myself - when I do it for other people that's when I am less confident but I can manage. I built a loop station that can be used with my computer. I have been involved in house building projects in many styles and rules (european/african/asian/australian).
I especially work well when I am interested in the job.Alter

Susanna has done far more Workaways than being shown through reviews on this profile, just so you know. Loads of stories to tell in regards to that as well.
