Hi hi! My name is Rou Jing, and I am from Singapore. I am currently on my gap year with the goal of trying new things and experiencing whatever life has to offer! I enjoy going on adventures, meeting new people, and exploring places. It brings me joy to be able to connect with people from around the world, immerse in their culture, and learn from one another. I hope to be able to use the gifts that I have to serve and be a blessing to others. Life is pretty wonderful when there is kindness, laughter, and a great big smile! :)

Was könntest du arbeiten?
I love being able to use my hands to do meaningful work! I graduated with a Diploma in Early Childhood Education, and have a Degree in Occupational Therapy. I am able to speak, read, and write in English and Mandarin. Previously, I was an English teacher in a preschool teaching children aged 2 to 6 years old. I also have experience working in the hospitals, clinics, special needs school, cafe, ship’s kitchen, and in retail.

I enjoy outdoor activities such as kayaking, cycling, and hiking. During my free time, I also cook, read, and do pottery. I like to take photos and videos of my adventures and of the little things in life because it brings me so much joy when I look back at all the memories!
