J'ai fait beaucoup d'échanges de ce genre via le site helpx et wwoof. J'ai seulement commencé à utiliser workaway il y a 2 ans.
Par le biais de ces échanges, j'ai déjà pu découvrir les Etats-Unis, l'Italie, la Corse, la Martinique et dernièrement Malte.

J'habite dans le Sud-Ouest de la France, dans l'Aude où je travaille à mon compte dans la prestation de ménage. Auparavant, j'ai eu différentes activités dont 14 ans en tant que professeure des écoles. Aujourd'hui, je passe beaucoup de temps dans mon potager et je mange mes propres légumes une bonne partie de l'année. Je profite de la période hivernale, beaucoup plus calme, pour découvrir de nouveaux horizons, où les températures sont plus agréables que chez moi, car oui, je n'aime pas beaucoup le froid! J'aime marcher, la nature et prendre des photos des paysages.

I live in southwestern France, in the Aude region, where I work as a self-employed cleaner. Previously, I had various jobs, including 14 years as a primary school teacher. Now, I spend a lot of time in my vegetable garden and eat my own vegetables for a good part of the year. I take advantage of the much quieter winter months to discover new places where the temperatures are more pleasant than at home, because yes, I don't really like the cold! I enjoy hiking, nature, and taking photos of landscapes.

Was könntest du arbeiten?
Je fais mon propre potager. Je fais toutes les étapes du semis à la récolte.
Je peux faire beaucoup de choses dans le jardin: entretien, rempotage, tonte, taille.
Il m'arrive de faire de la couture, mais toujours des choses simples. J'aime bricoler mais je ne suis pas experte donc j'ai besoin que l'on me montre comment faire.
J'adore les animaux, j'ai souvent gardé des animaux domestiques, j'ai aussi été bénévole dans un refuge pour les chats, je suis actuellement famille d'accueil pour les chats en attente d'adoption. Je me suis également occupée de différents animaux de la ferme (poules, chèvres, cochons, chevaux,...). I have my own vegetable garden. I do all the steps from sowing to harvesting.
I can do a lot of things in the garden: maintenance, potting, mowing, pruning.
I sometimes do some sewing, but always simple things. I like to do DIY but I am not an expert so I need somebody show me how to do it before.
I love animals, I have often looked after pets, I have also volunteered in a cat shelter, I am currently a foster family for cats waiting for adoption.. I have also taken care of different farm animals (chickens, goats, pigs, horses,...).
