🌍 Volunteer since 2020 — from Australia to Mexico and Guatemala, living in yoga and meditation centers, communities, and cultural projects.
🐾 Now on a pilgrimage to Peru, recently joined by Mata, my newly adopted dog, eager to learn bioconstruction and share spiritual medicine.

Hello! My name is Ytzamen, and I have been walking the path of volunteering and service since 2020.

I spent two years in Australia and a year and a half across Mexico and Guatemala, mostly in meditation centers, yoga centers, and community projects. My support has been in registration, cleaning, cooking, and daily operations — always with presence, enthusiasm, and teamwork.

I lived in community for a year, which gave me a deep love for shared living, co-creation, and respect for every role that sustains collective life. I’ve also assisted in Temazcal ceremonies, learning how ancient traditions hold space for healing.

Right now, I am on a pilgrimage toward Peru. My deepest interests are to learn more about bioconstruction, Earth care, and sustainable living — while also finishing an online study in the science of energy management (tantric hatha yoga), which ends in October. I feel called to begin sharing this wisdom with others.

Recently, life gifted me with Mata — a puppy I have just adopted. She is tender, loyal, and full of vitality, and I see her as part of the medicine I am meant to walk with.

For me, WorkAway is not only about “skills” — it is about sharing, teaching, and walking together. I bring physical energy, a grounded presence, and a deep listening that people often recognize in me. I am a being of essence, learning to touch the subtle parts of life, and I believe this is very needed in this time of awakening and transition.

I walk, and as I walk, I serve.
