Dear All,
I am very happy that I could finally take this step and register for workaway. I feel this is going to be an amazing journey and I cannot wait to gain as many experiences I can.✨ Let me introduce myself in a minute:)

My name is Sofia, I am 22 years old and I am from Budapest, Hungary. I am sociology student at university ELTE. My family lives in Szentendre, which is a cute town near Budapest. I have an amazing & loving mother and 2 brothers (15&18 yrs old), also a guinea pig.

My main motivation is to discover extraordinary places, meet cool people from different cultures and languages. I really like random meet ups, new adventures and culture exchanges.
I believe in respectful, honest, deep, but fun relationships, and that we can learn from & teach each other all the time. I am amazed by listening to other people's stories and also love to share my experiences.
My hobbys are travelling all around (whether solo or with my friends/boyfriend), cooking & eating (the more people the better:)), listening to music, sunbathing and learning new languages.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Dear Host,

As I mentioned in my introduction I came from a big family, so I have experience to be with younger kids, but I also get along well with adults and I really appreciate spending time with elderly people and learn from them✨. I considerate myself as social, an open minded, attentive, motivated&motivating person who strives to make amazing, honest relationships and help as many people as possible.

Regarding my professional experiences, I have been working for a catering company for 3 years now, and I go to festivals, or company events with them.
Also I was a receptionist in a 4 star hotel for 1 year, which I pretty much enjoyed. My role included great costumer service & communication in foreign languages (for me English, Italian and basic German), problem solving and administrative work as billing, paperwork, emailing.
I was participating in a lecturing project too for a couple of months, which was online, in English to italian language.
Right now as a member of AIESEC (international NGO lead by students), my role is to manage exchanges from all around the world and place them at our partner companies in Budapest, also making sure of the best value delivery of the participating interns.

Based on my professional profile, I am good at communication, problem solving and critical thinking, also I am socially sensitive & empathic person who really likes to work with people and help out. I love to challenge myself and experience more & more.

Was noch ...

I played the piano for 12years, I like doing sport & try out extreme ones:)), I am into winter sports like skiing, snowboarding and ice skating to.
With my family & friends we play board games like Cluedo, 7 wonders, Ticket to ride and card games, (also I tried to learn tarokk which is very complicated).

I certainly would try new foods (all the time), learn to play better in guitar, and go for insane rollercoaster ride 🎢.
I love the sunsets, the jazz music, (+red vine), Italian culture, German festivals, exotic fruits, kolibri bird.
Also one of my big goals is to participate in a project which makes our planet better and healthier🌱💙
