Hello everyone,
I am Silke - in the most basic description I am a Belgian (i.e. Flemish) woman and currently 28 years old.
What do I hope to find through this platform? I would love to find exchanges through which I can expand my knowledge and get some hands-on experience in the general areas of living a self-sufficient and sustainable life. I am deeply interested in permaculture, ecological construction, sustainable energy, caring for animals, and finding ways to repair and repurpose things in all possible ways. I enjoy getting to know people and learning about their cultures and what motivates them. Through these experiences I also hope to see the communities that connect different people and projects.
What motivates me in this? Specifically I am motivated by my own dream of one day living in such a beautiful way! On a deeper level, I am truly motivated to learn new things - it is what drives me in my life in many ways. I enjoy understanding how things work and what makes people tick. So please, feel free to educate me in any way, it will be greatly appreciated! :)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I've got (limited) experience with language, teaching, gardening, some natural building, and permaculture. I've definitely got some passive knowledge in all these areas. I am truly a fast learner, highly motivated, open to all kinds of new ideas and very eager to make the most out of any opportunity. I'm really looking for a hands-on, immersive experience.
