Hey my name is Miriam and I grew up in a small city in northern Germany. I also did my traineeship there and continued staying here for my job. Currently I´m working at the University which gives me a lot of opportunities to learn new things and work in an intercultural team.
In general, I love learning new things, I am quite curious, and get excited fast. In my free time I like to do DIYs (knitting, crafting, painting, all for fun), move my body (dancing, Pilates, swimming), cook and go to the movies. I enjoy activities a lot but can be found in a corner with a book for hours, too. Additionally, I am part of a book club and help at the animal shelter. I am a biological lab technician and have been working in this job for the last 15 years. Since 2019 I have been working at the University. My tasks are supervising and teaching students, managing the lab (maintenance, organization, ordering), research and general lab work. I am well-organized, accurate, responsible, and good at handling crisis or working under pressure. I am a quick leaner, adapt well to new situations and like working in a team.
Last year I started my fermentation journey. I make my own sourdough bread and ferment lemonade. I also have basic knowledge in German sign language.Alter
