Hello! We are Sarah and Arjun, both in our late twenties from London, and we’re currently at the start of a year and a half long trip around South America :)

Having been together for 3 years, we took the decision to pause our professional careers to explore the world, have some incredible food, and meet some great people, whilst improving our Spanish along the way.

Arjun
I’m Arjun, friendly and outgoing, and always keen to try new things. In terms of interests, I love my sports and am always keen to experience local sporting culture and events. I also enjoy the outdoors and am a keen foodie who loves cooking as much as eating.

In terms of my experiences, I have several years working with animals, from dog & cat sitting, to working on a sheep and cattle farm in Australia. I also had my own Dog, Rafa, for 13 years, so am very comfortable around animals and enjoy looking after them.

Alongside this, I’ve also worked in warehouses and garden centres, so am used to working outdoors and getting stuck in with practical tasks.

In my professional career as a Business Consultant, I have experience with both project managing and supporting growth and development initiatives for businesses, so I would be happy to contribute in that area too!

I’m Sarah - friendly and nature-loving, and always curious to learn and experience new things. I’m hoping to get immersed in local cultures, have authentic experiences and
improve my Spanish skills by volunteering with Workaway!

As well as professional experience in business and tourism, I have several years of experience babysitting, dog and cat sitting, as well as hospitality experience working in shops and restaurants (cleaning, bar & waitress work). I am diligent and hard working, a safe pair of hands, and prepared to take on any new challenge.

In terms of hobbies, I enjoy anything outdoors and active, especially swimming and hiking. I love to read and learn new things, and I also love cooking and would enjoy sharing meals and recipes and learning new ones from my host.

We look forward to hearing from you, supporting with your Workaway opportunity and engaging in cultural exchange.
