Beschreibung

Hi, I’m a slightly mature but very young at heart fit and healthy lady becoming more and more passionate about finding peace and tranquility away from the chaos and pressures of everyday life. I’ve recently bought a share in a certified organic community farm incorporating a holistic vet practice, cow and calf dairy and farm shop. It is now my Happy Place! I help with the biodynamic garden which particularly interests me and I have found out from talking to people there about the One Planet Development scheme, something I’m really keen to learn more about and hopefully do myself in the future.
I’ve become a member of Workaway to gain more knowledge and experience in the organic and off grid way of life.
Since a child, I’ve always loved the outdoors and have spent most of my life around horses (I used to ride and my daughter inherited my love for horses) and dogs (I was a dog groomer for 9 years). I love animals and nature.
I’m a single person and enjoy the social aspect and community feel volunteering gives.

I volunteer and own a share in a local community farm where I am constantly learning about the importance of organic food.
I love animals and nature. I have spent mine and my daughter’s childhood around horses and have spent many years involved with care and husbandry of these amazing animals.
My work background was originally , for many years, admin/office but in my mid-40’s decided on a change of direction and qualified as a dog groomer which I did for 9 years.
My dream is to live a more rural life as self sufficient as possible but have so much to learn if I’m to succeed!!

As I’ve got older I’ve become more interested in the world around me and less interested in possessions. I yearn a simpler, slower life surrounded by animals and nature, peace and tranquility 😊
