Hi, I am a primary teacher from New Zealand. I have volunteered and taught over in South Africa in 2017 and Samoa in 2015. I have loved teaching for the past few years, but have taken two years off to travel and work overseas.

I have spent the past two years working on ranches in the States and Canada. I am currently in Alberta, Canada working on a ranch. I am interested in exploring more of Canada and America, particularly Yukon, Alaska and the Rocky Mountains. I am interested in working at ranches or at stables with horses, however I am open to other opportunities too.

I am an active, energetic and positive person and enjoy trying new things. I am reliable and a hard worker. I enjoy new adventures and experiencing and emerging myself in new cultures. I am passionate about helping others, learning new cultures, music, sports, animals and nature. I am open-minded, reliable and always willing to learn new things.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Growing up, I did lots of camping and hiking with my family and also helped run a lot of camps for youth and kids. I love being active and being out in nature. I grew up in the country and have worked on a farm throughout high school, getting cattle in, milking them and helping with calving and birthing of goats and calves. I know how to drive a quad bike. I enjoy animals and can ride horses.

I have spent the past two years working on ranches in America and Canada where I fixed fences, helped with harvest - raking, baling, stacking, emptying grain into bins using augers and other machinery, moved irrigation pipes, cattle round ups, sorting cattle, winter calving - doctoring sick calves and tagging calves. I also rode a variety of different horses. I also have spent some time being a trail guide at a ranch and stable.

I have played sports since a young age, with my main focus on netball, but enjoy all sports. I enjoy music and can play the piano and bass guitar. I get on well with people of all ages and cultures. I like to look at the bright side of things and love to live life to the full. I am fit, open-minded and reliable and am always willing to learn new things. I love travelling and have been to Europe, California, the Islands, Africa and Australia. I am organised and happy to live out in nature and work hard.
