**currently happy working on farms in BC Canada**

Hi there :)

I'm Sarah & I used to work with international scientists at a German university. While being settled and working an office job can be fun, I'm longing to explore the world again and work outside, using my hands and being off-screen.
I'm an experienced traveler, lived and studied in a few different countries already. In 2011, I went to High School in New Brunswick and now, 14 years later, I am really excited to come back to Canada and dive into its nature and culture (& eat poutine).

Spending time and working outside makes me happy! Even better if there are animals involved! I have worked a lot of different jobs during my studies, but not on a farm - yet. But I am eager to learn and help and will ask questions to participate and get things done well. I'm a hands-on person, I see the work that needs to be done and I'm a quick learner. I dont' shy away from physical work and getting my hands dirty, especially not if it's for the animals :)
I'm a very kind, calm, always smiling, reliable human, who loves to discover new places, play board games, read a nice book, cuddle with fur friends. I'm also a family person, I enjoy being around kids and spending quality time with others. I love that I can combine being in nature, working with my hands, exploring a different way of life and making a new place my home through Workaway.

Also, I want to try as many new things as possible and I am excited to experience your local everyday life. I have no experience riding horses, but really enjoy being around them and if there is a chance, I'd be really happy to learn more about them and maybe even learn to ride.

I have very good painting skills, I know how to use a drill, a saw and other basic manual skills.
I have worked in a lot of jobs throughout my studies and volunteered in an animal shelter.
Overall I love learning new things and with a little guidance, I am a fast learner. I can work well in a team as well as on my own and I am keen to do good work with good results.
