🌍 About Us:
Hello! We're Sam and Marta, an adventurous couple from England and Poland, ready to embark on new journeys and experiences through Workaway. Our passion for exploration, love for animals, and enthusiasm for meeting new people have led us to seek enriching opportunities around the world.

🇬🇧🇵🇱 Background:
Originally from England, Sam brings a wealth of farming experience from his time working on farms in Australia. His dedication and hard work make him an asset in any task. Marta, hailing from Poland, has a background in childcare, having previously worked as an au-pair. Her nurturing nature and affinity for kids make her a joy to be around. She has also excelled in cleaning roles, showcasing her attention to detail.

🗣️ Language Skills:
While we currently have a basic understanding of Spanish, we are eager to immerse ourselves in the language and culture. We believe that effective communication is key to building strong connections, and we're excited to enhance our language skills during our Workaway experiences.

👫 Interests:
Our shared interests include a love for adventure, cooking, and, of course, meeting people from diverse backgrounds. Whether it's exploring new landscapes, trying local cuisines, or engaging in meaningful conversations, we're always up for the next exciting chapter.

I'm a native English speaker, and have previously taught English as a foreign language in Thailand, I would be happy to help anyone looking to learn/improve their English. Marta would be hapy to teach Polish. We are both very keen to improve our Spanish skills. We are both beginners and currently studying using apps and practising whilst we travel.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

🌾 Farming Experience - Picking, planting, and general maintainence. I worked on a number of farms during my time in Australia.

🔧 Handyman Abilities - I have basic DIY skills picked up from renovating our flat in London, and working on farms in Australia.

👶 Childcare Expertise - Marta has worked as an Au-pair and is amazing with kids. I have 2 nieces and a nephew ranging from 13 - 2 years old, so also have a lot of experience with children. I also worked as an English teacher in Thailand in the past which was a very rewarding experience.

🧹 Cleaning Prowess - Both of us are very clean and capable, Marta has been looking after an Airbnb previously whilst I have had a previous cleaning job at a motel in Australia.

👩‍🍳 Culinary Skills - I am a passionate home chef, i love to cook and try new recipes. Marta loves to bake and can make incredible cakes.

🤝 Communication and People Skills - Both of us are great with people and super friendly. I've worked in customer service in a number of roles in the past so very capable of dealing with customers in a polite manner.

🌍 Adaptability - We both pick up things very quickly and are keen to get involved in any task. We've both lived in different countries in the past so adapting to different cultures is easy for us.

🤲 Teamwork - Love to work as a team, I have played a numebr of team sports over my life including football and rugby. We've both worked in team enviroments in a number of roles we've had.

🌟 Positive Attitude - For us hardwork is its own reward :)

We are both passionate about maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle. We regularly hit the gym, finding joy and energy in workouts that range from weightlifting to cardio exercises.

🍳 Culinary Adventures:
We find pleasure in cooking/baking together, experimenting with diverse ingredients and cuisines. The culinary adventures are a delightful reflection of our love for good food and the joy of sharing it with others.

✈️ Wanderlust and Travel:
We love traveling, seizing every opportunity to explore new places and cultures. Whether it's hiking through scenic landscapes, exploring bustling markets, or immersing themselves in local traditions, we value the enriching experiences that travel brings.

🌲 Outdoor Exploration:
Beyond the gym, we find joy in outdoor activities. Hiking and nature walks are among our favorite pursuits. We appreciate the serenity of the outdoors and the sense of connection with the natural world.
