Started in France, went to Portugal, Spain, France again, Switserland and on our way to Germany to visit some friends for a couple of days! After Germany via Sweden to Norway for the next workaway!

Hi there!
Nice to meet you. We are Ruben (31) and Susanna (28), and we’ve been a couple for over 13 years.

For a long time, we’ve dreamed of going on a longer trip, and that moment has finally arrived! From January 2026 until the summer of 2026, we’ll be traveling through Europe, helping farmers, families, and other adventurers in exchange for room and board.

We are huge nature enthusiasts, love spending time outdoors, enjoy learning new things, and are always excited to make new connections.

We’re both outgoing and love being around others but we also like to retreat every now and then to read or write. Therefore, we’d prefer to have a room for just the two of us, without other Workawayers.

We may not have a ton of experience yet, but we’re eager to learn new skills from you. As you may have already guessed, we’re especially excited about this adventure because we’ll be developing new skills while working with you for a few weeks. We’d love to work with nature and animals, but we’re definitely not opposed to more technical tasks either.
Susanna is a primary school teacher and has a strong connection with children. If the tasks are mainly technical, she’d be happy to take care of your kids (if you have any).
