Beschreibung

Hi there, I am Rosie (26) from Scotland, I'm currently travelling Australia in my 1st year WHV. I have been in Australia since February and have worked in Melbourne, Adelaide, Darwin and Norfolk Island. I have travelled the East Coast and also road tripped from Melbourne through the red centre to Darwin. I am currently completing my 88 days on Norfolk Island - working in a hotel doing a mix of housekeeping and bartending. Looking to explore Tasmania and would love the opportunity to experience living and helping out the local community.

I am a friendly, empathetic, and approachable person who addresses everything with a positive attitude and am fun to be around. I have a passion for the outdoors and love anything where I can get involved with nature. I am no stranger to a bit of hard graft and work exceedingly hard to excel with new challenges I am faced with.

I have worked and volunteered in a variety of places over the years and love learning new skills and sharing experiences with families and communities. I am a social person who loves to meet new people, I am a hard worker but also appreciate the chance to put my feet up and relax after a long day.

I am a native English speaker and have been through secondary school exams and also studied to degree level. I am confident and happy to teach English and help out with subjects such as English, Art, Geography, Product Design and basic maths. I learned and studied French at high school so have a basic understanding however I am currently learning Spanish online and would love the opportunity to learn more.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have a degree in Digital Interaction Design - a course specialising in product, graphic, computing and user research design. Prior to coming to Australia I was working in digital marketing doing social media marketing for The Cooperative. I have worked with some incredible charities including Guide Dogs UK and CHAS and love the opportunity to get involved with helping people and animals.

I have over 10 years of customer service experience working in both retail and hospitality. I also have experience as a professional housekeeper and love cleaning, tidying and organising. In my spare time I enjoy anything that involves the outdoors or getting creative. I take pride in being clean and tidy and enjoy anything that involves organisation. I have had animals my whole life and love dogs in particular and would love to help out.
