I’m a social, adventurous, and down-to-earth traveler from England with a big love for the outdoors, the ocean, and connecting with people.

Canada has been fueling my dream of living closer to nature and embracing an outdoor lifestyle. I’m always up for learning something new, but I especially love opportunities that get me outdoors and hands-on — whether that’s working with animals, gardening, environmental projects, or life on a farm. I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty, and I get a lot of joy from putting my energy into something meaningful.

The past 4 months I’ve been working on Sproat Lake, Vancouver Island, where I drove houseboats and water taxis, sharing my love for the lake with visitors and locals alike.

My recent Workaway projects have been very animal and garden-oriented: I’ve cared for horses, sheep, goats, turkeys, chickens, ostriches, and llamas, and helped with weeding, planting, and harvesting all sorts of veggies.

I have lots of hands-on, physical work under my belt, from fruit farms and coal mines in Australia to garden and farm projects across Workaway. I’ve been picking up basic carpentry skills recently and would love the chance to keep building on that.

I also have some volunteer experience at a hostel in Cape Town, running karaoke nights, working reception, and helping keep the place running smoothly.

Water and the outdoors are my happy places. I’m always up for an adventure, whether its camping, kayaking, hiking, or cycling. Water sports are a big passion of mine— I love any excuse to be in or around the water.

I bring plenty of positive energy, people skills, and reliability. I love to keep active, learn new skills, and contribute however I can. Whether it’s farm life on Vancouver Island or helping out with a project in Antigua and Barbuda, I’m ready to muck in and make myself useful.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have a strong background in hospitality and admin roles, working my way up from bar team to General Manager of the pub owned by my local brewery in the last 4 years. I genuinely enjoy working with people. I'm friendly, approachable, and always focused on making others feel comfortable and looked after. In addition to my hospitality experience, I’ve also worked on mine sites and farms across Australia, including physically demanding roles like fruit picking under the hot sun — so I’m no stranger to hard work or tough conditions.

I’ve also taken on hands-on roles at festivals, helping build sets and infrastructure, which involved long hours and working as part of a fast-paced team. I’m in good physical condition, adaptable, and not afraid to get my hands dirty. Whether it’s customer-facing tasks, admin support, manual labour, or helping out wherever I’m needed, I bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.

Was noch ...

I have a keen interest in water sports, particularly paddle sports such as kayaking and paddle boarding. I'm currently training to become a qualified paddle sport instructor. In addition, I hold the necessary licenses to work in the yachting industry and plan to join the U.S. yachting season starting in October.
