Searching for our next adventure, preferably North Coast of Australia. Available somewhere from June/July/August.

Beschreibung

🇦🇺🇺🇸🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 We are Sebastian (social worker) and Tamara (social worker) from Germany.
In 2024/2025, we spent 11 months traveling in South Africa and South America. During this time, we had the opportunity to participate in two Workaway programs (in Peru and Chile).
Which included basic farm work, animal care, house chores, gardening and basic renovations.
Starting in February 2026, we will be traveling in Australia on a Working Holiday Visa. There, too, we plan to gain diverse experiences and meet new people through Workaway.

Currently located in WA Donnybrook. planning on going on the Big Lap starting somewhere in June. Going North, then East and coming back over the South.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

We bring along some basic skills in very different areas like cooking, gardening, DIY, renovating, animal care etc.
We are open to learn new skills and to improve our current basic knowledge.
Since coming to Australia we also developed a few farming skills: fencing, tractor operating, animal work

As Social Workers we are used to being around people a lot especially children and teenagers. Sebastian worked with familys and their children for about two years. Tamara worked with younger children (0 - 6 years) for two years, after that she moved up to teenagers up to the age of 22.
We also have a big family ourselves (11 nieces and nephews).

Before starting a Workaway we would like to chat a bit and get to know each other to make sure that everything fits.
We are open to discuss the content of the workaway in advance.
