Hola, soy Rahel (33) de Suiza y actualmente estoy viajando durante siete meses por Bolivia, Perú, Colombia, Costa Rica y Nicaragua.

En Suiza trabajo como trabajadora social, pero en este momento estoy disfrutando mucho de la oportunidad de conocer nuevos lugares, aprender de otras personas y colaborar donde pueda.

Un poco sobre mí:
Me encanta bailar salsa, escalar y practicar yoga. También disfruto mucho de pasar tiempo en la montaña: hacer senderismo en verano y snowboard en invierno. Soy una persona muy sociable y me gusta compartir tiempo con otras personas, conversar y crear conexiones auténticas. Me considero una persona abierta, positiva y curiosa. Me gusta reír, conocer gente nueva y descubrir la belleza de la naturaleza. Viajar para mí también significa aprender sobre diferentes estilos de vida y conocerme mejor a mí misma.

¿Por qué Workaway?
Me interesa mucho el intercambio cultural y de idiomas. Tengo curiosidad por conocer no solo los paisajes, sino también a las personas que viven allí y su vida cotidiana. Para mí, Workaway es una forma muy bonita de viajar de una manera más auténtica, conectando con la gente local y aportando algo a cambio.

¿En qué puedo ayudar?
Estoy abierta a diferentes tipos de tareas: trabajar en el campo, ayudar con animales, colaborar en la casa o apoyar en pequeños proyectos de mantenimiento o renovación. Soy una persona motivada, práctica y siempre dispuesta a ayudar donde se necesite. También me encantaría colaborar en un hostel, por ejemplo en la recepción, ayudando con la atención a los huéspedes, check-ins o simplemente creando un ambiente agradable y acogedor para los viajeros.

Me haría mucha ilusión conocer nuevos anfitriones, compartir historias, aprender nuevas habilidades y dejar una experiencia positiva.

Hi, I’m Rahel (33) from Switzerland and currently traveling for seven months through Bolivia, Peru, and Colombia.

Back home in Switzerland, I work as a social worker, but right now I’m really enjoying the opportunity to discover new places, learn from different people, and contribute wherever I can.

A bit about me:
I love salsa dancing, climbing, and practicing yoga. I also really enjoy spending time in the mountains—hiking in summer and snowboarding in winter. I’m a very social person and enjoy spending time with others, having good conversations, and creating genuine connections. I consider myself open-minded, positive, and curious. I love to laugh, meet new people, and discover the beauty of nature. For me, traveling is also about learning about different lifestyles and getting to know myself better.

Why Workaway?
I’m very interested in cultural and language exchange. I’m curious not only about landscapes, but also about the people who live there and their everyday lives. For me, Workaway is a wonderful way to travel more authentically, connect with local people, and give something back.

How I can help:
I’m open to many different kinds of tasks—working in the fields, helping with animals, supporting around the house, or assisting with small maintenance or renovation projects. I’m motivated, practical, and always happy to help wherever it’s needed.

I would also love to help in a hostel, for example at the reception, assisting with guest services, check-ins, or simply helping create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for travelers.

I’m really looking forward to meeting new hosts, sharing stories, learning new skills, and hopefully leaving a positive impact. ✨
