Hello, everyone! My name is Raf Wouters, and I'm currently a Masters student in biochemistry and biotechnologies at the University of Leuven. What truly brings me happiness is the thrill of hiking, the serenity of camping, and the excitement of adventure.

As I prepare to transition into the working world in the coming year, I've felt a strong urge to gain valuable life experiences before I fully commit to my career. That's why I've chosen to embark on a Workaway journey by myself, and I'm particularly drawn to nature-filled environments.

The prospect of combining my love for the active outdoors with meaningful work and cultural exchange is incredibly motivating for me. I believe that immersing myself in different communities and contributing to projects that align with my passion for nature will not only provide me with valuable skills but also a profound sense of fulfillment and happiness. I'm eager to connect with hosts and fellow Workawayers who share similar interests and values, and I'm excited to be a part of this enriching experience together!

I've been a student for 6 years now, so I'm a quick learner, and I know that whatever my task is, that I will try to find the best and most efficient solution. I'm also eager to keep learning new languages and more about cultures that are so far unknown to me.

I also have 4 years work experience in a restaurant, and Ive been a leader at our local scouting for 5 years, so I'm very social and I'm not afraid to meet new people.
