Hey there,

I'm Quentin, 31 years old Frenchie. I've been a digital nomad for a couple years though, so haven't lived in France for a while. I recently decided to drop the "digital" out of "digital nomad", as I left behind a life as an artificial intelligence consultant for a more fulfilling career in bucket-listing.

Few random things about me:

- I'm a part time musician and hope to make it my way of living one day, which means I'm not really the down-to-earth kind of guy;
- I used to live in a campervan so I'm comfortable with drowning in solitude and pooping in strange places;
- I love to travel and have been to more places than I can remember, but to be fair that says more about my bad memory than anything else;
- I read a lot and know too many quotes, yet I can't share my favorite authors here because their names would probably be censored by Workaway’s moderation

I’m hoping to meet some cool peeps here and hopefully join some life-changing, heart-filling projects.

The only two languages I know enough to teach are French and English. As for the languages I am interested in learning, I would say right now mostly Portuguese, Russian and Arabic.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

In my everyday life I work in computer science (data analysis / artificial intelligence), so my main skills are :
- Programming in a few languages (Python, R, SQL, C, Java...)
- Creating websites and Data Visualizations
- Business Strategy Consulting
- Graphic Design (beginner)

I have also had a few volunteering experiences in the past, mainly :
- Handyman for a month in a dog hotel in Japan (quite the crazy experience), where I did some cleaning, cooking, washing the dishes...
- Volunteer for 4 months in an orphanage / monastery in Kathmandu, Nepal : I was originally just there to teach Englih, but I ended up teaching many more topics (math, geography, French...), cooking, and doing some housework.
I guess what I'm saying is that I can probably be useful to you somehow, depending on what you need. And if it's outside my comfort zone I'd be glad to learn on the job :)

Also I am an amateur musician (mostly guitar), if what you need is someone to entertain you, there is a good chance that I know at least one song you love ;)

Was noch ...

Some of my interests :
- Music : I play guitar and a few other instruments, and I enjoy immensely to listen to and talk about music. I do not really have a favourite genre, I like anything from 60's rock to modern hip-hop, including classical, trip-hop, psychedelic rock, bossa nova, free jazz, post-rock... I just love noise I guess! :)
- Travel : it doesn't matter the destination, I just enjoy being on the road.
Going places I have never been, seeing things that I may never see again... You know the tune ;) I love eating new food, meeting new people, discovering a new culture (over the past few years I have gotten really into spirituality / religion, so that's now an important part of my travels)
- Artificial Intelligence : it's more than just my job, I find its implications fascinating for our economic / politic future
