Beschreibung

Hi!! My name is Prune, I'm 21, and after a few years of studying solidarity and ecology, I refined my desires and needs for the future. As time went by, I realized I am not really made to integrate a ‘classic’ life and be part of processes I consider catastrophic individually and globally. So I'm trying to think, to find ways of living that suit better what I think and how I feel. At the same time, through visiting farms (or other places) and and meeting people, I realized that spending time outdoors, moving, and doing things that allow me to think suited me much better than other experiences.
I know I'm drawn to the idea of ​​places that mix community living, solidarity and lifestyles that respect different forms of life. But before potentially embarking on this kind of project or integrating myself into one for a long time, I have a lot to learn and discover. So I want to take a closer look! I've had the opportunity to visit farms (just to give a hand, or for internships or work) eco-places, and “activists places” (espace de lutte, I don’t really know how to translate this to English haha) and I'd like to continue these discoveries over a longer period of time to better understand what I like, more or less, how community living can work, to what extent, etc. Also, I'm looking to learn about farming, agroecology, permaculture, aromatic and medicinal plants, eco-construction, etc... A more academic path could be an option, but I imagine (and hope!) learning through informal transmission and hands-on experience is also possible.
So I have a great desire to learn about the topics I've mentioned, but also a desire to discover, follow what comes to me, meet people, share moments, meals, laughter, and memories! :)

I didn’t get the chance to speak English a lot the last 2 years maybe and I am very excited about travelling again, meeting people from other countries and speak English again!! I can feel my level used to be better so I am really looking forward getting it back! I would love to learn some Spanish. Would like to learn some Italian too, I did study Italian at school but I think I forgot pretty much everything sadly.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I can learn haha! I m not an expert in anything I would say, but I can adapt easily and like a lot of different “tasks”. I did learn a lot working in farms. Sometimes I did short stays from one day to a couple. I also did an internship with a person who cultivate medicinal and aromatic plants, I worked in an organic farm, did wine harvest.
I also went to different places where I learned stuff about handiwork. A few years ago I did a workaway in a sanctuary for rescued donkeys mostly and other animals as well.
