Hi
We are Phil and Julie, fit and 50 , from England in the UK.
Phil is a teacher and naturalist, spending many years looking after and educating young children in all National Curriculum subjects, but particularly English, and especially leading groups in birdwatching/wildlife walks.
Julie is an Activities Co-ordinator working with adults with Spinal Injuries organising therapeutic activities, including gardening, cooking, arts & crafts, music and many other activities.
As homeowners, parents and pet-owners for many years, we are both very experienced in home maintenance, basic repairs, decorating, gardening, food preparation* and caring for children and animals.
(*mostly vegetarian)
We are both passionate about exploration, being outdoors, nature, ecology and history. We are also both experienced stage performers, with a long list of theatre appearances and entertainments behind us. Both of us are sociable people and love the chance to engage and interact with others.
Taking a gap year from our very responsible jobs has given us the opportunity to travel and experience other ways of life across the sea.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Phil - many years experience teaching children, naturalism/birdwatching (running groups), performing, walking, maintaining family home (decorating, basic repairs, some gardening), caring for family and some farm animals, driving.

Julie - many years experience of working with adults and children with physical disabilities and learning disabilities, organising therapuetic activities such as teaching gardening, cooking, arts and crafts skills, organising events, caring for own family and some farm animals, driving including minibuses.

We are performers in amateur theatre.
Phil plays cricket. Julie loves swimming and horse riding. Both love the great outdoors, history and culture. Both very socially and used to writing with a wide variety of people.
