Je m'appelle Petra et je viens de Taïwan. Je suis ravi de rejoindre Workaway et de découvrir de nouvelles cultures, de rencontrer des personnes intéressantes et de contribuer là où je le peux. Je suis une personne responsable, positive et très adaptable, qui aime relever de nouveaux défis. J’ai des compétences en design, en soins des chevaux, ainsi que dans les activités manuelles et creatives, ménage, bricolage, etc. Je suis toujours heureux de donner un coup de main pour diverses tâches. Loisirs:
Passionnée par la nature, j’aime la randonnée, le jogging, le ski et les activités nautiques. Je pratique également l’équitation depuis plus de 4 ans, une activité qui m’apporte beaucoup de plaisir et de connexion avec les animaux. Voyager est une vraie passion pour moi : j’aime découvrir de nouveaux endroits à travers les rencontres et les échanges. Lors de mes expériences professionnelles, j’ai eu la chance de travailler avec des personnes de différentes nationalités, ce que j’apprécie particulièrement.

Soins aux animaux – Expérience en bénévolat dans une association de chiens guides, avec soin et attention portés aux chiens en formation
Équitation – À l’aise avec les chevaux : soins (grooming), équitation et assistance lors d’activités équestres
Service client – Expérience en salon de boissons, à l’aise dans le contact avec les clients et dans un environnement dynamique

Nice to meeting you here! My friend called me Petra, I’m a designer from Taiwan, and I'm planning to travel to France this June for a working holiday experience. I'm currently looking for opportunities in places like art related, hostels where I can both contribute and learn more about French culture and daily life.

I have a wide range of interests, especially outdoor activities, because I truly enjoy spending time in nature. I love hiking, jogging, skiing, and water sports, and I've also been horse riding since when I’m in university. Traveling is a big passion of mine—I come from a subtropical country, and I often travel solo. I enjoy connecting with people and having conversations along the way, as I believe it's the most direct and meaningful way to understand a place and its culture. In my previous work experience, I've had the chance to collaborate with colleagues from different countries, and I really appreciate diverse perspectives and the creativity that comes from them.

I speak four languages:
Mandarin is my native language, and I use English professionally at work. I also learned Korean out of personal interest, and I'm currently learning French. If you're interested, I'd be happy to do a language exchange! I'd also really appreciate any help in improving my French—it would mean a lot. Of course, I'm continuing to study with my teachers as well.

I've been work as:
Beyond regular work tasks, I'm a designer full of ideas and creativity. I’d love to share that with you through DIY activities like crafting or drawing. I'm always curious about new things and open to learning any new skills.
In addition to my five years of full-time experience as a visual designer, I’ve also volunteered with a guide dog association, where I helped take care of dogs in training. I’ve worked as a groom at a stable, so I’m comfortable riding and taking care of horses, and I’ve assisted riders in domestic equestrian competitions. I’ve also worked part-time at a movie theater, where I developed customer service and basic sales skills.
And one fun fact—have you heard of Taiwan’s famous bubble tea? I love it so much that I worked at two different bubble tea shops just to learn the process and how the business operates. It was a great experience and gave me a deeper understanding of one of Taiwan’s most popular drinks!
