Hello future friends! Peter and Rikke here.
We are a couple travelling Europe for 1 year, beginning our adventure in september 2024.
We are both 26 years old.
Peter has a bachelor in dramaturgy, and Rikke is a choir-conductor, taking a lovely break from her studies in Music.

Peter described by Rikke:
Peter is a very kind, funny and creative person. He has a calmning easygoing presence, but is at the same time a hard worker. He is an experienced workawayer, and has been travelling in Norway and Sweden for 6 months. He is very friendly and good at bad jokes, laughs and deep conversations.

Rikke described by Peter:
Rikke is a warm ourgoing person who is always up for a task. Although she does not have alot of workaway experience, she is a go getter. Rikke is always there. if you need a hand, a talk about anything or someone to have a silent moment with, she is the person. she has been travelling in New Zealand and has spent alot of time in France.
She is smart, funny and adventurous.

Peter: I speak English and understand a bit of German.

I have experience with light capentry, cutting grass, chopping wood, and generally fine with getting my hands dirty.

I have also worked with kids.

Rikke:
I speak english, a bit French and german.

I have experience with maintenence tasks, a bit animal care, planting and cleaning (and teaching music if needed) - but im up for most tasks, and enjoy getting new knowledge and know-how.

Vom Workawayer () für Host (Enjoy the outdoors in Bella ...)

We stayed with Eric and Helen for about two weeks and really enjoyed our stay. Eric and Helen are sweet, generous and caring people, who provided us with a general knowledge about the beautiful area of Umbria they live in. The work was fair and the accomedation was amazing as well as the food. Helen is a very good cook!

We stayed with Roberto and Tiziana (and their lovely dogs) for one month, and we had a really great time! Roberto is a funny, talkative and energetic host and Tiziana is just the most lovely person, which made it a great place for cultural exchange and great banter :)

Rikke and Peter are an amazing couple. We had a great and fun time together. They are super clean and there's no need to remind them the house's rules.
Basically they performed different tasks: Rikke painted an entire ceiling (80mq) and renewed a couple of tables while Peter helped me to build the new house internal wall's frames with wood poles… read more

This was an absolutely amazing workaday-experience. Mathilde and Håvard is the most kind, fun, warm and welcoming hosts. We stayed with Mirjam and Nils for 2 weeks. Even though it was a short stay, they really made us feel at home. A lot of effort was put in to the comfort and accomodation of the workawayers. Peter is a very friendly and positive boy. Always ready to help and very good with animals and children. Our son did not want to stop to play with him :-) He is a very smart person and you can enjoy long and interesting conversations with him about everything. This was an amazing experience! We stayed at Seiland in december which meant not the much light but besides being a bit tired it did not matter that much. The beautiful northen light and night sky made up for it.

I had a really pleasent stay.
The cabin is extraordinary.
The work was fair and got to have many good talks with Ole.
I only stayed there a week so did not get the chance to talk that much with rest of the family.
I would definitely recommend this place!

Vom Workawayer () für Host (Learn about life on a small ...)

This was my first stay with Workaway and I really had a good time.
Great people, great kids(🤙), great atmosphere and good hard work.

The only bad things i have to say, is that the barn was a bit cold this time of year, but that is a small price to pay for such good hosts.

Thank you for a fantastic stay!
