Hey there!

We’re a couple from two different sides of the world who met online and connected instantly. After 10 months of daily chats and long-distance dreaming, we finally made it happen and met in person! We spent an unforgettable year together in Poland—Pawel’s home country—and then took a leap to start our first Workaway adventure in Canada. That experience turned out to be truly life-changing and opened our eyes to the beauty of community, shared work, and slow, meaningful living.

Right now, before settling into long-term careers, we’ve decided to follow our curiosity and travel through different communities and cultures. We’re eager to learn, help out, and discover ways of living that we may have never considered if not for this journey. Our hearts are especially drawn to projects that bring us closer to nature, simple living, and sustainability. One day, we hope to build a life that reflects those values—grounded, connected, and self-sufficient.

We both find joy in creative expression and meaningful connection. Pawel is passionate about tourism and all forms of art—from music to visual design—and he’s a real people person. He loves meeting new faces, sharing stories, and making others smile. He also enjoys experimenting in the kitchen, always keen to try new recipes and cooking techniques (which we all get to benefit from!).

Kathryn is a quieter soul who finds joy in music, nature, and cozy, creative tasks. She loves yardwork—especially planting and caring for gardens—as well as crafting, baking, playing/listening to piano, getting lost in a good movie or a DIY idea are all part of my happy place, and spending time with animals (with a very soft spot for cats in particular!). She’s always up for anything crafty or peaceful and enjoys the simple pleasures of life.

We’re both respectful, curious, and excited to learn new skills, connect with kind-hearted people, and lend a hand wherever it’s needed. We really value honest work, good energy, and meaningful moments—and we’re so looking forward to the next chapter of this adventure.

Together, we bring a mix of creativity, warmth, and curiosity—always excited to learn something new and lend a hand however we can.
