Just reopened my profile after roughly 6 years...:)
Hello im Paul:)...i am returning to workaway after working for the past couple of years...I work seasonal now so i am looking for around November until February roughly..Although i am open to new adventures and earnings if things turn up:).. I am a chef, but have experience in many things, love the outdoors, gardening etc, painting and decorating..dab hand with a paint brush:)...feels good to be back on here:).. ..i am a young feeling 44yr old happy person who loves helping and learning new things. love travelling and meeting new people learning about all different cultures and way of life:)
I have been doing workaway for a few year now on and off.. what an amazing way to meet people and see the world, I have had a few workaways as wel as the normal jobs,
I really want to experience the winter months in either, Iceland,Norway,Sweden,Finland,Denmark etc, Iv always loved the cold and snow, and would love to experience the lifestyle and cultures dealing with the wintertime....if anybody needs help please message me:)
I've done many different things whilst working away my very first was a month in a beautiful place in France..le Dordogne..helping a wonderful family restore an old barn..I learnt lots of new things including concreting, stone walling, using all power tools, and driving a tractor,,,very enjoyable time..! i was in Venice for a month painting and decorating a hotel/hostel, and of course exploring the wonderful city:) i have done many more workaways enjoying every minute of it:)
I'm looking to travel and explore new things and places and meet different people on the way gaining new experiences.. I'm very willing to help in all things, il try my hand at anything, I'm a quick learner and very conscious in the work I do...
i like painting, gardening,outside work, cooking plus many more..
I'm single and finally have the chance to see more of the world and experience new cultures..
Exciting times ahead I hope..
I'm currently trying to teach myself and learn to play the piano.. I would love to learn a new language, and more about different foods, I'm easy going chilled out, enjoy meeting new people and learning about different cultures..if I'm not on a workaway I'm normally working so I can save and travel and see more of our world..:).
i have also now purchased a little camper van.. if there is room to park, that would be brilliant,,

I have had various employment gaining many skills, from driving, insulation, building, maintanence, cooking, in my current job (cooking) it's seasonal so during the winter I joined the maintanence team, painting,repairing,building,chopping down, fun work which I enjoyed and was good at..
Iv good people skills dealing with many throughout my working day, dealing with allergies dietary requirments,religious beliefs vegans, and fussy people of course:)
Previously Iv worked on building soft play areas, parks, rides, erecting greenhouses, landscaping,roofing. Many to name a few..
Have done courses on health and safety, all food courses, working at safe heights, machinery,painting,gardening...

I'm relatively new to the whole workaway experience but very excited to see and learn more of the world. I have had a few experiences of workaway and am enjoying it immensely..I would like to think I'm a honest hardworking punctual fun person who enjoys travelling, learning new things, gaining more life experiences, I'm open to new experiences and places, iv gained qualifications in cooking and health and safety aspects.insulation regulations and building experience, Ive driven for a living and recently worked in the catering industry.im Really excited at what this sight can help me with and what I can help other people with in what may be needed..I am very interested in buddism and do try to live by the way off life..very fulfilling and eye opening:)
I would love to learn a new language and play a musical instrument...hard to do but I'm a trier:)

from the time i arrived to the time i left i was treated as one of the family,..the work i did was enjoyable and not hard at all, accommodation in a beautiful old Italian house, food that filled me up every time… read more
One hour him working is like 3 hours of a normal person. He made so much in such a little time. The real hard hard worker...
He was also helping tourists getting around Venice, even if it wasn't his task, always willing to help...
