Currently in Logan Lake and plan on staying here for the winter season (probably till the end of February/March).

Beschreibung

Hey I‘m Paula, 21 years old from Germany.
I want to experience a different lifestyle than most of my friends. Which means studying and working.
I am interested in learning new skills and gaining knowledge that I wouldn't acquire otherwise. I want to go on adventures, try all sorts of activities and hopefully meet amazing people along the way that I can built friendships with!

The reason why I chose Canada is because I've been on a bus tour with my family where we travelled some time around Toronto and moved on to Vancouver. During this time I fell in love with the nature and culture. I was so fascinated by everything that I wanted to spend more time in this country.

I love everything that has to do with animals and being outside. So I don't mind getting my hands dirty.
A huge part of my current life is taking care of my two little dogs and my hobby (vaulting -> vaulting is gymnastik on horseback). This is one of my passions because during training I can be with my teammates and this sport led me to another passion, which is teaching children and teenagers how to vault. Therefore, since one of my “teammates" is a horse I have some knowledge of horses. I also took riding lessons a few years ago.

Some days a week I watch over siblings of three (5, 7, and 9 years old), so I know how to take care of and keep them busy.

I would really enjoy being a guest or if accepted a part of the family :)

Graduation from Highschool in 2025
Some knowledge of horses —> 2-3 times a week taking care of a horse
Very active person —> taking dogs for walks and doing vaulting
I am also experienced with kids —> babysitting and coaching kinds in vaulting (all kind of ages)

I am willing to learn new skills and try to give my best in supporting the host.

Was noch ...

I'm currently at a Husky Ranch in Logan Lake to learn more about dogs and the lifestyle of a musher. I plan on staying a whole winter season at the Husky Ranch and hopefully learn to lead a dog team on my own.
After this (probably end of February/March), I would love to stay at a horse ranch and experience Western culture.
