One of my biggest hobbies is anything to do with watersports. Kayaking, Canoeing or Stand Up Paddleboarding - i'm your man.

Beschreibung

Hi, I'm Patrick! After living in the UK all my life, I'm ready to explore a little bit of the world around me.

My friends would describe me as empathetic, persistent and articulate (but also a pain in the butt apparently). I would say I can communicate well in social situations, thrive when meeting new people, and am at my best when doing physical labour such as landscaping and (very) basic carpentry. I would also say I'm a creative person who's main motivations are born out of a desire to make, whether that be my films or otherwise.

Whilst not an experienced workawayer, I am a seasoned volunteer - having volunteered as a kayak instructor for 3 years before making it my job two years ago. This has allowed my communication and management skills to develop as I have had a lot of experience leading and being responsible for large groups on the water.

As somebody who has grown up in England, I am often embarrassed about the fact that a second language is not taught from a young age. So wherever I am in the world i would love to learn as much of your language as possible to make up for this and absorb as much of your culture as possible.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

The most valuable skill i can offer would be in physical tasks. I thrive when performing manual labour having grown up in a house of gardeners. Whether that be moving soil, chopping wood or painting a fence. Give me a job in a garden, and it will get done.

Aside from this, I have spent the last 5 years as a kayak instructor in my home town. Teaching me valuable skills in teaching, communication and flexibility in the pursuit of completing a task (young people aren't the most predictable).

Additionally, a hobby that I often try to develop as I would love to go into it professionally is filmmaking. This year I have written, directed and edited a short film for a competition. So i would consider myself very creative so if you need help with any content creation I'd love to lend a hand.
