Hi!

We are Pat and Sarah and are currently traveling around South America for five months.

We live in London and have been dreaming of long-term travel in South America since we got together over seven years ago. We love meeting new people, exploring local / off the beaten track areas and learning new skills. We are also very keen to become fluent in Spanish in the near future having just completed two weeks at Spanish school in San Carlos (with no prior Spanish speaking).

Our goal is to go back to the UK with richer perspectives about the world and a range of new friends across the globe that we can stay in touch with! And to feel we brought a little happiness to people along the way :)

Here is our list of skills...

We are both native English speakers and have university honor degrees (Sarah in Psychology and Pat in Business).

We both work in the same field within marketing (market research) and have spent 20 years combined working with clients to develop marketing strategies, enter new markets, create new products etc. We like to think of ourselves as 'problem solvers' :).

We are passionate about teachimg younger people in our jobs and are very patient

We are good chefs - Sarah specialises in pasta dishes and Pat in tray bakes. Sarah can congure a great dish from scraps, Pat diligently follows recipes

We are handy at DIY and landscaping but we don't have any formal training e.g. we totally redesigned our garden at home, good with drills and tools etc.

Sarah is also very arty and paints regularly for fun.

Generally, we are very motivated to help with anything and like to be useful. Plus Pat is very tall and can reach things too high for most :)

Was noch ...

Our favourite things to do is chat with new people are crack jokes.

Sarah loves learning and sharing interesting psychology facts and Pat loves watching and playing sport - football, boxing, tennis and golf.

We like playing games and get quite competitive e.g. we have recently enjoyed playing others at Rummy in hostels across Colombia
