Hello,

My name is Parisa. I'm a filmmaker from Stockholm, Sweden. Altough I grew up in a city I'm always longing to the contryside, to the slower life, to a place that is less focused on consuming.

The concept of workaway was kind of a life-changing revelation for me. I couldn't believe that there was a concept like this. I just finished school in documentary-filming and had thought alot about why I liked documentary-filming as a art form. I realized is that what I like about it, specific, is that I could meet so many different people in different places in different contexts - with the camera as an "excuse."

I feel like workaway is the same thing, but without the camera, and without the excuse. I really enjoy seeing small parts of different peoples world and life, and I'm very grateful that there is a place like this.
I love working with kids and animals! In the summer I work at a summer-camp where I teach kids filmmaking. I love to play, I try not to take life to serious

I'm interested in learning more about animal care, carpentry, boat-life, taking care of a house, gardening.

I could teach you about: filmmaking, editing, playing music, swedish, english.

I'm a filmmaker. I can film, edit, and so on. Basically anything that has to do with filmmaking I could help out at! Sometimes I bring my own gear with my travels and sometimes not. I could edit in Avid and Premiere.

I also play alot of music! I could teach piano, guitar or bass.

I'm super into animal care - one of my longterm dreams have been to learn how to ride. I'm don't know anything about it but I have a strong will!

I'm skilled in swedish ofcourse - If anyone would like to learn! I could teach english aswell.

I've worked my whole life with and around kids. I'm a leader at a summercamp for teens and children where I usually work the whole summers.

I'm very happy and open to learn whatever you have to offer! I'm always eager to learn new things.
