Hello !

We are Elise and Thibault, we are 25 and 26 years old. We have a big travel project : we left our apartment and our works in Paris few weeks ago to cross Europe and Asia. Our objective is to reach Katmandou in Nepal. We want to travel slowlier than regular travel ways. So we try to avoid planes, motorways, or high-speed trains. This way of travel allows us to discover persons, landscapes and lifestyles in each place that we are crossing.

Workaway is also a good opportunity to travel that way. We have a big energy amount to share with you to contribute to your works and projects. And we also have some skills which could be useful in your activities. We are both qualified in social economy and sustainable development.

Elise already did woofing and voluntary works in United Kingdom (livestock farming, market gardening) and also in Sri Lanka (eco tourism development, help in orphanage). Thibault is beekeeper at the same time than his work.

We both are motivated to learn and discover your activities, and then to be useful as we can to contribute in.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

My name is Elise and I am 25 years old. I grew up in France near Paris. I studied hotel and catering for 3 years, which means that I am comfortable providing service, welcoming customers, organizing a venue or events. Subsequently, I also completed a master's degree in social and solidarity economy for 2 years. Until this trip, I worked in this sector, more particularly in welcoming refugees in France. For example, I managed an emergency accommodation center for 1 year.
Apart from my studies and my job, I have a great interest in nature, gardening, composting and breeding. I had the opportunity to work for 6 months on farms in the UK, so I have some basics in the sphere and I love it!
Also, I think I have good relational skills and have no difficulty creating bonds with the people I meet.
In summary, I don't have very specific "technical" skills to promote but I am determined and learn very quickly. I believe I am a resourceful and efficient person in the tasks entrusted to me.
