Hey guys,
I'm Paddy,a 40 year old guy from Co.Meath in Ireland.
I'm a well mannered,respectable and good natured individual.
I have a very strong background in sport and played Gaelic football,hurling,soccer,basketball and Olympic handball growing up and as a result have a v strong sense of what it means to be part of a team and to be able to work as a member within that team.
I enjoy the outdoors and countryside but also like traveling to new cities and urban areas to get a feel for what they are like too.
My main hobbies would include live music,cinema,sports,poker and fishing.

Jayne is a fantastic host.i had a great time helping to paint her home for the best part of two weeks.
The nearby town of Cambria is quaint and v cool and packed full of lots of great restaurants and there's lots to do and see at the nearby beaches.

Paddy is a very hard worker! He was dedicated to finishing tasks that I thought would take days to do. He is nice, friendly, and sociable with the community. He also helped at other properties of friends I know of and was happy to do so.
I hope we have him again next spring!

Vom Workawayer () für Host (Starting a rustic off grid ...)

I really enjoyed my time with Cole up in the stunning,north shore area.
I had intended on staying 3 weeks on his property but unfortunately I only stayed one week.i was hoping to do a lot of fishing whilst I was up there,dry fly fishing for trout specifically,but,unfortunately when I had gotten up there,we had discovered that the season for trout … read more on rivers and streams had already closed and I was disappointed with that!
Cole is an absolute gentleman and really a pleasure to be around.his enthusiasm and energy for life is infectious and I really can't see how anybody could not like this guy!he's honest,v intelligent and was v straightforward with what he expected of me as a workawayer and what he could provide as a host!i found him v easy to communicate with throughout the entire process.
The tasks mainly centered around getting the camp a little more ready for the onset of winter- preparing firewood,making new trails in and around the camp etc and were generally nothing too stressful.
From the moment I arrived at camp (and even beforehand),he could not have been more helpful in making sure I got up there on the correct bus and then making sure that I was comfortable and well fed in the camp.he always checked and tried to make sure that I was warm enough in the tent with extra blankets and clothes if I needed them.
The camp itself is v basic and primitive but I knew that before I went up,as Cole had already explained that.glamping this is not!!!!there's no shower/bathroom,running water, electricity etc!i slept in a tent that Cole provided and he slept in an A frame type structure which I found to be totally satisfactory but would offer a word of warning that one would have to be extremely well prepared to make it through this scenario in the depths of winter.i stayed at the beginning of October and there were nights when it just about hit freezing and it felt cold in the tent,so,I can only imagine what it might feel like when winter really starts and it plunges deep into the minus figures!
Cole is a complete adventurer and has a wonderful sense of humor and was only too happy to include me in some of these adventures and meet with all his great friends and have a good time in this beautiful community!
The scenery and wildlife in the area is amazing,the people of the area are v welcoming and down to earth and the host is a pleasure to be around!all in all,a great experience,would highly recommend it (provided u are properly prepared) and hope to get back here at some date in the future.
Thanks to Cole and Tara,who unfortunately I did not meet as she was out of town during my visit,and the wider community of Silver Bay and Finland for a v enjoyable experience.thanks
