Hello, I'm Noga, a 32 years old landscape architecture student from Israel.
I've always been fascinated by the connection between people and their surroundings. Their soil and climate, the way they traditionally grow and collect food, the culture around it and their stories that emerge from a place are some of the things that make me feel connected to the world.
Before studying landscape architecture, I worked as a pastry chef in restaurants and bakeries, spent a lot of time on organic farms and permaculture projects, and worked as a graphic and interior designer. I believe all these interests grew from the same curiosity of understanding how people live, create, grow, and care for the world around them.
I truly believe that the environments we create and inhabit have a profound influence on how we feel, think, and relate to one another.
I find that for me the most interesting way of traveling is to take part in everyday life. Some of my most meaningful experiences came from sharing ordinary daily life with people and feeling, even briefly, part of a place. Working together, exchanging ideas, stories, skills, and perspectives is the main thing I am looking for.
I appreciate honesty, open communication, curiosity, kindness, but as much as I enjoy meaningful conversations, I believe that sharing good laughter is one of the simplest and most beautiful way to connect.
I'd be happy to share my culture, language, food, and experiences from the Middle East, and I'm always curious to learn from others in return.
