Hello! My name is Noemi, meaning "pleasantness". And although I would say that I do have a pleasant personality, there's more to me than my name 😉 This being said, let me introduce myself briefly:

The past years I've lived in quite a few different places and countries, such as Belgium, Indonesia and Mexico and have gained experience in various jobs (marketing, project management, graphic design, communications) and also did some volunteering (building-/permaculture-/community-project in Chiapas, Mexico; cat- & garden-sitting in North Germany > both not via Workaway). So, I would say that I'm very interested in other cultures. I love browsing museums in cities that are new to me, seeing the differences as well as the universal similarities in the art, I enjoy people watching while wandering through city streets, hiking up mountains is a great joy for me, as well as trying local cuisines, feeling the sun on my skin and being around animals (and humans as well of course) 🌞... pure bliss!
Seeing how other people live and understand life made me reflect a lot. After my time in Mexico, I returned to my home country Germany and finished my master's degree in Sustainability Economics & Management. I will turn 30 this year (somehow crazy, and somehow not at all)
and am currently I'm working as a sustainability manager, completely remotely and with very little, very flexible working time. I want to use this great amount of flexibility and "free" time (and little income as a downside) wisely. Which for me means deepening my yoga practice, learning more about naturopathy, spending time in nature, foraging food, taking time to cook & bake, and learning new skills whilst traveling.

In the future, I aim to live on my own piece of land in harmony with nature, according to the principles of permaculture and as self-sufficiently as possible. Hence, I am looking forward to learning a wide range of skills from different people. In return, I am happy to share my knowledge on sustainability, marketing and graphic design, my travel experiences, recipes for environmentally and skin-friendly cosmetics and cleaning products, my cooking skills, my muscle power and much more...
