Tätigkeiten, die mich interessieren:

Wherever I am, I love to explore the nature around, doing hikes, taking pictures, getting to know the culture and religion and spending time with the local people and travelers around me.

Beschreibung

At the beginning of 2022 I started my travels trough Morocco, Ireland and the south of Europe and I didn't know at all what to expect. The only thing I knew is that I want to learn about new ways of living, new cultures and countries I've never been before. When I started my first Workaway in the South of Spain I knew: I want to do more of this. I loved to be able to learn new things every day, participate in projects and help building and creating things in different parts of the world.

At the end of 2023 I started to travel trough Asia, I explored Sri Lanka and Indonesia and now in spring of 2024 I finally made it to Nepal, a country I wanted to explore since so many years. In Nepal I want to do some Trekkings, get to know the history and culture of this very colourful and beautiful country and I'd love to participate in some local projects.

Trough Workaway I got to know a lot of inspiring people and was able to work and live in beautiful places. Thanks to those people I learned in the last two years about their culture, gardening, how it is to live in a community and I'm looking forward to many other things to learn, see and experience.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

My curiosity let me learn new skills pretty fast and during the last 4 years of working in different jobs and traveling in Europe, Afrika and Asia I collected a lot of experience in many different jobs and environments.

I learned about gardening while working on an organic farm in the north of Ireland, in an eco lodge in south of Portugal and on a farm in Grand Canaria. I learned about Permaculture, and discovered the joy of working with plants and animals, built a cage for chickens and planted all different kind of vegetables and did may other jobs in the garden. Also I worked for a foundation in the south of Sri Lanka for children and family in need and learned about Fundraising while creating event for tourists. I volunteered in a hostel, worked as a puppy sitter or wall painter and enjoyed every single work I was able to do trough Workaway in the last 2 years.

Photography fascinates me since I can think. While travelling I always go around with my camera to catch unique moments. When I was working as a journalist in Switzerland after my high-school graduation and also during the last 2 years of traveling I got to improve that skill and I really love to create thing and projects with my camera. Recently I learned how to handle an analog camera and develop the pictures by myself. If there's the chance to help you with a photo project at your place I'm more than happy to get creative with my camera!

I discovered my flair for languages as a child. At grammar school I worked on my English and French. After I got my Matura, I was allowed to work as a journalist in an editorial office for nine months and was able to multiply my writing in German. During my time abroad, I would like to improve my French and Italian, as well as learning another language - Spanish.

Also I'm more than happy to teach how to do a headstand, handstand or other acrobatic things since I learned those skills in the years where I was an artistic cycling athlete and I'm more than happy to give some beginner acrobatic lessons :)
