I am a humourous, gentle 19year-old from Bern, Switzerland. In Summer 2024 I gratuated from high school. Now, I want to travel through the east of Europe to experience new cultures and languages. I most like to travel by train or bike, so that I can meet new people while being on the way and stay connected to earth all the way long.
Among my biggest interests are history, different languages and societys, work with children as well as general interpersonal work. At home, I'm leader in a scout group and enjoy being in nature together very much. Besides these interests, I am open to learn anything new, I like to learn. This is exactly why I am on Workaway, I hope to meet new people and to learn new things, be it languages, types of work, anything.

Was könntest du arbeiten?
- I like doing social work, especially with children. For almost a year now, I've been a scout-leader for 6-11 years olds and love it. Also, for seven years, I've worked in a social foundation (IdéeSport/Minimove) in Bern, Switzerland, where we create safe spaces for children to play and let off steam every sunday afternoon in less rich neighborhoods.
- Generally, I am good at talking with people, giving them a feeling of belonging and creating a certain group-feeling, therefore, I have a good knack at caring.
- I like learning and teaching, especially languages, such as my native language German, I am currently learning Russian and would also like to have a look into Romanian. In terms of teaching, besides languages, I generally establish a good connection to children quickly.
- I am told to be a very self-reliant and reliable person, who works efficiently and structured. I think, I can adjust to various environments, people or situations easily and quickly.
- Last but not least, I like to work with words, text and language, but also with my hands (gardening, woodworking or carrying stuff).
