Beschreibung

Hello, my name is Nicola and I am currently travelling through South America.

I am from Germany and two months ago I decided to leave my job as a social worker to discover new places, experience different cultures, and meet people from different backgrounds.

I am an open minded, curious and responsible person who enjoys to get to know new people and learning from new experiences. During my travels, I would love to become part of local communities, share everyday life with locals.

I am interested in cultural exchange, nature, sustainable projects, and learning about different ways of life. I enjoy working with people, children, and animals, and I love being outdoors. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, swimming, diving, cycling, baking, and reading. Back home in Germany, I also love going on bike rides with my racing bike.

I am excited to meet new people, learn new skills, and support different projects during my journey.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Back home I was working as a social worker that is why I have experience in working with children, young adults and families. I enjoy to plan creative activities and spending time with kids. During my studies I also worked at the reception of a hostel, where I learned how to organise things and communicate with people from different countries. After finishing school, I spent a year as an au pair in France and was working with kids too.

I really enjoy travelling and getting to know new cultures and different ways of living. One of the reasons I joined Workaway is because I like trying new things and learning skills that I wouldn't learn at home. I enjoy working outdoors and would love to help on a farm, with animals, fruit picking or other tasks. I'm reliable, easy going and happy to help wherever there is a need.

In my free time I enjoy hiking, cycling and exploring new places. I speak German and English fluently, know a little French and I'm currently trying to improve (learn) my Spanish.
