Beschreibung

Hello everybody, here is Nico, 30 years old from Germany.

Finally, I was able to start my long trip after more than 2 years of waiting.
Here in Germany I used to work full time as a prescool teacher and loveed my job. But I took the chance to see the world before I get stuck here in Germany. So the last two winters I spent in northern Norway to work in a husky kennel as a guide and of course to look after our 125 furry friends. In summer I normally spend some time in Germany and I. autumn I find jobs in warmer climates.

In 2013, when I was 18 I spent one year in the United States as an Au Pair and worked for 2 different families.
When I came back I worked for one year at the Legoland Discovery Centre in my Hometown Oberhausen and I had a blast working there.
In 2015 I decided to go to Canada wor a work and travel experience. It was one of the best decisions of my life and I worked in diefferent jobs, made good friends and met so many nice people and enjoyed the most beautiful landscapes all over Canada.
I mainly stayed in the Yukon with a family of 4 in a bush camp, and over the winter in the Northwest Territories, where I worked at the Blachford Lake Lodge.
Both places are very remote and in the wilderness, which I liked a lot. I really enjoyed differend chores as the process of making birch syrup, building animal stables and looking after them, cooking, housekeeping, cooking and all kinds of outdoor acitivities like skidoo trips with tourists, (ice) fishing, chainsawing, snowshoe hiking, camping trips, and so on.
the last years I spent mainly with studying and working in my professional job.

Ok now my person: I would describe myself as a very positive person with a good sense of humor. I am easy to meet. I like to keep myself busy, meet people or enjoy my own company. I am honest, curious, thankful and like to live my life as it comes.
I am mainly a very outgoing person and like to socialize, but also enjoy peace and quiet and like to be by myself. I like to keep myself busy most of the time and do sports or go on trips. Because of my recent jobs I am used to work in teams or by myself. Outside in the garden, kitchen or looking after children...I am very flexible.

I studied early childhood education and family studies, also worked for more than 2 years as a professional prescool teacher for kids from the age of 1-7.

I have some photography and video editing skills, but unfortunately I will travel without equipment.
