Hello! 😊

This is my second year as a Workaway volunteer, and as always, I like to keep my profile updated.

My name is Mariano, and I'm from Argentina. I lived in Brazil for quite a while, and because I love traveling, I've now spent more than a year volunteering in different countries across Europe.

I'm a calm, easygoing person who enjoys helping with the daily activities. I'm not a professional in every task, but I always do my best to learn something new. I like asking questions, and if I don't know something, I'll often look it up and learn by myself.

When it comes to working hours, I like to be clear and organized. I believe it's important to respect the agreed schedule because I also need time to rest, study English, and enjoy my free time. I always do my part and take my responsibilities seriously.

At the moment, I'm studying English to improve my communication. My progress is a bit slow because I'm often busy looking for my next volunteer opportunity or working hard to save money so I can continue traveling. Even so, I always bring a positive attitude, motivation, and dedication, and my hosts usually notice the effort I put into everything I do. So, I only ask for a little patience while I keep improving. 😊

One important thing I'd like to mention is that I value honesty and mutual respect. If the volunteer position is unpaid, I expect both of us to respect the hours and conditions we agreed on before I arrive. If I notice that the workload becomes significantly different from what was originally discussed, I'll bring it up respectfully so we can find a solution together. If we can't reach an agreement, I would rather leave on good terms than continue in a situation that isn't fair for either of us.

I've had many wonderful volunteering experiences and also a few difficult ones. Those experiences taught me the importance of setting healthy boundaries while continuing to be kind, responsible, and committed.

If the position is paid, of course I understand that the expectations and responsibilities may be different, and I'm happy to fulfill them as agreed.

Was noch ...

I have a university education, but I decided to explore the world to meet new people and make friends in many countries.

I already have plenty of experience as a volunteer in different countries. I’m quite new to this platform, but I’ve used another one where I’ve joined several projects.

I love learning languages, and I’d be happy to teach you everything I know in Portuguese and, of course, Spanish.
I enjoy learning, and right now I’m studying Italian and also English. I’d really appreciate your help to keep improving.
